International Sandwich Festival
This event is about more than sandwiches, but be sure to come hungry because there’s plenty of breaded goodness to go around. The grub has ethnic — Asian, Latin American, and Middle Eastern representation — and regional influences. UNC Charlotte’s Mobile Arts & Community Experience (MAX) pops up with a stage for entertainment, including music (salsa, merengue, jazz) and dance performances.
