FROM THE ARTIST Erin Wiseman I don’t have any formal training as an artist, but ever since I can remember I have always dabbled with paint. I grew up in North Carolina with my nose in a book and I constantly daydreamed about being somewhere else. I gallivanted around for a while and ended up simmering down in Burke county. Most of my paintings are based on random, every day encounters looked at through a fantastical lens. I don’t really know what my style is. I try not to think about it too much.
